Preparing Your Application

Become an ESL InstructorTo submit your application, you will require:

  • a summary of your curriculum vitae (resume) as a Word .doc or Adobe Acrobat .pdf file (must not exceed two 8.5 x 11 in. pages, must not exceed 1,000 Kb)
  • a clear scan or a clear digital photo of your ESL / English or French teaching certificate as a .jpg file (must not exceed 1,000 Kb)
  • a brief sample lesson plan as a Word .doc or Adobe Acrobat .pdf file (up to 1,000 characters, must not exceed 1,000 Kb)
  • a recent photo for display on the tutor profile page as a .jpg file (will be resized to 80 pixels by 80 pixels, must not exceed 1,000 Kb)
