Elinet's Advanced Certificate Program offers 100 carefully selected, recent articles from the Canadian media featuring real-life English language. The key goal of the Advanced Program is the development of students' reading, writing, spelling and punctuation skills with a focus on creativity.
Students are required to study any 100 articles of their choice and complete written assignments using the newly introduced language (topic-related terms, popular expressions and word combinations). An extra 20 articles are offered for greater flexibility. Students then need to answer a number of topic-related questions, directly or in the form of a brief (up to one page long) coherent essay that has to be submitted to their personal Elinet tutor for review and comments.
The Advanced Program is designed for students who have completed Elinet's Basic Certificate Program and Intermediate Certificate Program levels, as well as for anyone wishing to enhance their scope of modern English and considerably improve their command of the language, particularly their writing skills.

My name is Peter Wilkinson. I am an experienced and qualified teacher. I have gained a PGCE, a CELTA and a TEYL qualification in teaching. I also hold a BA degree and a Masters Degree. I've worked in various teaching environments; from UK secondary schools through to business classes and very young learners courses in Japan to Tibetan Monks in India. I believe in motivated and exciting paced classes to keep my lessons fun and educational.
